30 Oct 2005: 382 NCR ID badges now online.
New numbers for the personnel database: 406 WAVES; 98 Naval personnel; 23 Marines, 269 NCR employees.
2 October 2006: A new source of names of personnel in Bldg. 26 during the War: NCR Put-On slips, a familiar piece of paper to anyone who worked at the Cash. As workers were hired, a record of their day of hire, department and assignment was kept on form called the "put-on." These are arranged alphabetically by month. So far, in 5 months of records, hundreds of names are coming to light.
17 Sept 2006: New: pages of bombe correspondence from the National Archives, new editions of the NCR News (complete with searchable text transcriptions), more names have been added to the Personnel database, and some new pages of communications between Dayton and Washington added in the Messages section.
27 Aug 2006: What light can Elle magazine shed on the Dayton Codebreakers? The August issue features a section "How to Build a Bombe"!
For those in Dayton who remember the Cash, and anyone who wants to learn more about NCR in 1942, and wny it was ideally situated to conduct an emergency top priority project: A post-war report written for the Army by NCR from the NCR Archive Center at Dayton History
1 Aug 2006: Once again, thanks to the generosity of a veteran and their family, I have some wonderful glimpses into life at Sugar Camp. The family of Granville Peoples has shared some photos from his time in Dayton and I have uploaded them to the Snapshots Page. Please take a look.
300 NCR wartime ID badges are now uploaded and available through the Personnel database!
For veterans, their families and friends: The detective work needed to put together a listing of all who served in, or visited, Building 26 continues! The Personnel Roster section now contains records of 486 individuals who served at, or were associated with Building 26, including 825+ pieces of information related to 87 Navy officers and personnel, 324 WAVES, 25 Marines, 50 NCR civilians. In addition, the 1943 and 1944 Rosters are now text searchable.

11 April 2006: "Snapshots", photographs donated by veterans--WAVES and sailors--at the 1995 and 2001 Reunions
